Dr. Maria Katsara – Pediatric Services

Dr. Maria Katsara provides complete pediatric services for various health issues and also developmental evaluation in children, from neonates to adolescents (16-18 years). Due to her training in pulmonary diseases, the doctor evaluates and attends children with recurrent wheeze, chronic cough, noisy breathing, bronchial asthma, bronchitis, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis. When necessary, respiratory function tests and challenge tests are performed.

The doctor evaluates and provides treatment for common health problems (fever, common cold, abdominal pain, constipation, skin rashes etc.) and guidance on child development, nutrition, vaccines, prevention issues, psychokinetic well-being, and chronic diseases. Moreover, due to her long-standing service in Hospital Pediatrics, Dr. Katsara is efficient in identifying and treating common emergency conditions, or rarer diseases that require special medical care.

The pediatric office and especially the waiting area are designed in a way that, visiting the doctor becomes an enjoyable experience. For vaccinations we take precaution for painless practice.  Of course, we provide a breast-feeding corner for the mothers that prefer quiet and discretion. The office is open on daily basis.
